Age of Applicant:  The minimum age is sixty-two (62).

Marital Status:  Applicants may be single, widowed, divorced or separated.  The Center will accept applications from married couples but each party must meet all of the requirements.

Voluntary Application:  The Center will consider only voluntary applicants who seek residency and are interviewed.  Applicants must complete, sign and return the required application form.

Application Fee:  A non-refundable application fee of $50 is required of each applicant.

Medical Condition:  All applicants must be approved to live in the area for which they have applied.  The Center follows the regulations set by the State of Florida concerning the qualifications which govern each level of care.  The Center reserves the right to accept or reject any applicant not meeting the required criteria.  In some areas, a doctor must complete a state health assessment form which indicates that the applicant is appropriate for that level of care.

Retention Policy:  All financial arrangements must be understood and accepted.  A statement to that affect must be signed prior to admission of an approved applicant.

Exceptions:  The Center will not accept applicants with the following disabilities:

  • Senile psychosis detrimental to themselves and/or others
  • Personality, behavior disorders or emotional problems resulting in the inability to adjust to group living
  • Communicable, contagious or infectious diseases
  • IV Treatments
  • Ventilator
