COMMON FUNDS

Florida Baptist Foundation offers the following three types of investment funds for our clients based upon their investment objectives: 

OPPORTUNITY FUND - This Fund is a balanced fund. The investment objective of the Opportunity Fund is long-term growth of principal with emphasis on current income. Assets may be invested in equities, fixed income and cash equivalent securities. The preferred asset mix is 50% equities and 50% fixed income with the target return over a ten-year horizon of 9% on an annual basis. This fund is typically for fixed payment accounts where payments may be made from earned income, realized gaines and principal, if necessary.  For a copy of our investment policy for the Opportunity Fund, please click here.

STABILITY FUND - The investment objective of the Stability fund is current income with minimal emphasis on long-term growth of principal. Assets may be invested in equities, church loans, fixed income and cash equivalent securities. The preferred asset mix is 80% fixed income and 20% equities with the target return over a ten-year horizon of 7% on an annual basis. CHURCH RESERVE FUND - The investment objective of this fund is to maximize current income through money market and cash equivalent securities. The preferred asset mix is 100% money market and cash equivalents. This fund is specifically for a church wanting maximum current income with minimal principal fluctuation. This is an excellent fund for a church's cash (money market) reserves. A church may have more than one segregated account.
